[Seoul Nightscape] Naksan Park & Ihwa Mural Village: A Romantic Walk Along Ancient Fortress Walls

In our last moonlight escape, we walked through the golden-lit royal paths and captured the glowing crystal beauty of the Grand Greenhouse at Changgyeonggung Palace . Today, we are heading up into the hills to experience an entirely different kind of Seoul nightlife. We are trading the flat riverside paths for a historic ridge that offers the most nostalgic, romantic, and breathtaking view of the city skyline. Welcome to Naksan Park (낙산공원) and Ihwa Mural Village (이화벽화마을) ! Named "Naksan" because its humped shape resembles the back of a camel ( Nakta ), this hill is home to a beautifully preserved section of the Seoul City Wall (한양도성) built in 1396. While Gangnam and Hong대 blink with flashy neon signs, Naksan offers a warm, analog golden glow that has made it a legendary filming location for countless K-dramas and the ultimate hidden date spot for local university students.
